A Peek Inside Chasing Ayden…

Thank you for stopping by to peek in to the world of Chasing Ayden. My name is Emily, and I am a mommy to a wonderful, high-energy little girl named Ayden, (who is going to be a big sister to Frankie Grace, sometime in March.) My husband is Mike, and our dog is Pete.

I am a writer and and arts enthusiast. I dabble in photography, drawing, singing, dancing, cooking, party-panning and anything that allows me the freedom of self-expression.

I originally started writing this blog as a knee-jerk response to my love of all things DIY. In becoming a mother, I reconnected with my creative self in a way that I hadn’t since I myself was a child. Between crafty projects, I would find myself chasing my sweet Ayden around the house, hence the name ‘Chasing Ayden’.

As I delved further in to Motherhood, I found myself wanting to share more and more about my discoveries and journey in parenting, and Chasing Ayden began to evolve in to more of a Parenitng / Lifestye space. I still share DIY’s from time-to-time, however, this blog has definitely gone a little ‘deeper’ than originally planned.

I hope that you will find something here that you can relate to or that just plain inspires you!

xo, Em

  1. Hi Emily,
Sorry for the comment here; I couldn’t find another way to contact you.

I am doing a presentation on early childhood, talking a bit about the benefits of baby wearing, and am in need of a photo of a mom holding her baby while washing dishes. Wondering if you would mind if I used your photo? (http://www.chasingayden.com/mommy-super-powers/).

If not, I understand. But if so, I know it would be great.

    Thank you!

    Jennifer
